World Cancer Day 2020
04 February 2020
4 February marks World Cancer Day, a global initiative aimed at raising awareness of cancer and cancer treatment.

The CR UK & UCL Cancer Trials Centre coordinates dozens of cancer trials and studies which are underway across the world. Their focus ranges from pioneering therapies for leukaemia, through to cervical cancer treatment for patients in India and Mexico.

Some of the team behind Europe's largest lung cancer screening study, SUMMIT, have marked the day by getting on board with the UICC's #IAmAndIWill concept. You can visit the World Cancer Day website for more details on this and other events taking place to mark the day.

Be sure to check back throughout the year for more details on the work being done at the CTC in the fight against cancer.
