The CTC offices are currently closed for refurbishment. Access to trial TMFs and patient records will be limited during this period. We will still be able to receive post during this time, but there may be a small delay in responding to this. Our fax lines may also be subject to disruption. Where possible, please direct all correspondence via email to trial-specific email addresses. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Due to COVID-19 and current government guidance, UCL CTC staff continue to work remotely with limited access to the office. Please continue to email the trial specific mailbox with any urgent queries. For paper CRF trials, please continue to copy and scan CRFs to the trial inboxes (remove all patient identifiers except Trial Number and Initials) until further notice.

SUMMIT study presented at IASLC in Barcelona
10 September 2019
The IASLC 20th World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC 2019) of the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) was held this month in the Spanish city of Barcelona.

The SUMMIT team presented a ‘Trial in Progress’ poster titled ‘Cancer Screening Study With or Without Low Dose Lung CT to validate a Multi-cancer Early Detection Blood Test: SUMMIT’. The study has been recruiting since April 2019 and has more than 3000 participants currently enrolled.

SUMMIT has two aims: to spot lung cancer among at-risk Londoners early, when the chance of successful treatment is greatest, and to support the development of a new blood test for the early detection of multiple cancer types, including lung cancer.

More details about the study can be found here.
