Blood Cancer Awareness Month

September will see a number of events taking place in aid of Blood Cancer Awareness month.

Every year, around 34,000 people in the UK are diagnosed with blood cancer, which has three main types: leukaemia, lymphoma, and myeloma (a specific awareness week for lymphoma will be taking place later in September).

The CRUK & UCL CTC’s haematology group—led by Laura Clifton-Hadley—runs a number of trials devoted to treatment of blood cancers, more details of which can be found over at our trial pages.

As always, donations to our research can be made here.
