Lymphatic Cancer Awareness Week
This week (September 11-17) marks lymphatic cancer awareness week.
Lymphoma is the fifth most common type of cancer in the UK, affecting the white blood cells the body uses to fight infection.
The cancer can occur at any age, even in children. However, it is nearly always treatable; most people live for many years after being diagnosed with lymphoma.
The CRUK & UCL Cancer Trials Centre runs a number of trials devoted to the treatment of lymphatic cancers, more details of which can be found over at our trial pages.
