The CRUK & UCL Cancer Trials Centre has produced three videos aimed at patients considering entering INTERLACE, a trial investigating the treatment of cervical cancer.
Opened in 2012, INTERLACE is investigating the potential benefit of 6 weeks of additional chemotherapy for patients, a course given prior to the standard cervical cancer treatment of combined chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
The videos feature two INTERLACE patients who underwent treatment at University College Hospital (UCLH), as well as interviews with trial chief investigator Dr Mary McCormack (pictured) and UCLH cancer nurses Karen Summerville and Egla Aitkens.
